Wild Orkadia is a Brisbane-based creative studio founded by artist and photographer Lindsey Collier. Through portraiture, symbolism, photography, and thoughtful visual storytelling, Wild Orkadia creates artwork and products centred around connection, reflection, memory, and emotional presence.
Do you make commissioned portraits?
Yes. Wild Orkadia offers commissioned portraiture and custom artwork created with care, collaboration, and intention.
Each commission is approached thoughtfully to create a piece that feels personal and emotionally resonant. Availability for commissions may vary throughout the year.
What mediums do you work in?
Wild Orkadia works across a variety of mediums including:

Can I use a personal photograph as a reference image?
Yes. Many commissioned works are created from personal reference photographs.
By submitting images, you confirm that you have permission to use and share them. Wild Orkadia respects the privacy and emotional significance of personal photographs and handles them with care.
Do you offer memorial portraits?
Yes. Memorial portraiture is offered and approached with sensitivity, care, and open communication throughout the process.
These pieces are often deeply personal, and time is taken to ensure the work feels meaningful and respectful.
How long do commissions take?
Timeframes vary depending on:
- artwork size
- complexity
- current workload
- drying/production times, particularly with oil paints
Estimated timeframes will be discussed prior to beginning your commission.
Do you ship artwork Australia-wide?
Yes. Wild Orkadia currently ships within Australia, with select international shipping available upon request.
Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout or discussed during commission planning.
Are prints available?
It is on its way! Selected artworks may become available as fine art prints, limited editions, or small product collections. Currently I am waiting on product samples from suppliers. Check back in July 2026.
Can I return or exchange my order?
As many items are handmade, custom, or made-to-order, Wild Orkadia generally does not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item so we can help resolve the issue.
